From the East on I-90:
Take I-90 West. Follow the signs to Rockford. En route you will pass through four toll booths and pass by two Oases. You will eventually see exit signs for Rockford - Route 20. The first exit for Rockford also lists Cherry Valley, Freeport, and Galena. Take it. (It comes up quickly just after a viaduct.) You will be on a long by-pass of Rockford but will continue west on Route 20 to Freeport.

As you get close, you will see an exit sign for Freeport 20 BSN. Take it. You will pass a motel (currently a Travelodge) on your right and see a stop light ahead. Take South Street straight ahead. The fourth stop LIGHT is at West Avenue (Route 26). Turn right and continue to the second stop LIGHT at Empire Street. Turn left and continue to the first stop SIGN at Park Avenue. Turn left and continue down a boulevard, passing the Country Club on your right. Continue briefly to the next left and turn onto West Demeter Drive. The fifth drive on your right brings you to La Hacienda; there is a lamppost and a private drive sign.

From the West on Route 20 BSN:
Coming into Freeport, the first stop LIGHT is at North Park Blvd. Turn right and continue to the second stop SIGN at Empire Street. Continue straight ahead, down a boulevard, passing the Country Club on your right. Continue briefly to the next left and turn onto West Demeter Drive. The fifth drive on your right brings you to La Hacienda; there is a lamppost and a private drive sign.

From the North on Route 26 (West Avenue):
Coming into Freeport, the second stop LIGHT is Stephenson Street. Turn right and continue to the first stop SIGN at North Park Blvd. Turn left and continue to the first stop SIGN at Empire Street. Continue straight ahead, down a boulevard, passing the Country Club on your right. Continue briefly to the next left and turn onto West Demeter Drive. The fifth drive on your right brings you to La Hacienda; there is a lamppost and a private drive sign.

From the South on Route 26 (West Avenue):
Coming into Freeport, the fifth stop LIGHT is at Empire Street. Turn left and continue to the first stop SIGN at Park Avenue. Turn left and continue down a boulevard, passing the Country Club on your right. Continue briefly to the next left and turn onto West Demeter Drive. The fifth drive on your right brings you to La Hacienda: there is a lamppost and a private drive sign.

From the East on Route 75 (Stephenson Street):
Coming into Freeport, the fifth stop LIGHT is at West Avenue. Continue straight ahead to the first stop SIGN at North Park Blvd. Turn left and continue to the first stop SIGN. Continue straight ahead, down a boulevard, passing the Country Club on your right. Continue briefly to the next left and turn onto West Demeter Drive. The fifth drive on your right brings you to La Hacienda; there is a lamppost and a private drive sign.
