Agreement
The
vision of this retreat needs to be maintained. It is for a Christian
leadership, blessed and refreshed by time in God’s presence,
strengthened and emboldened to minister to His children and proclaim
His Kingdom. Religious, educational, and charitable programs,
while at the retreat, must not be in conflict with this vision.
All sponsoring organizations need to be tax-exempt.
The
lovely and quiet character of our neighborhood needs to be maintained,
as well. Therefore, we ask our guests to minimize the number of
cars brought here and to bring no vehicle bigger than a 15-passenger
van.
It
is impossible for La Hacienda Christian Retreat, and The McNess
Foundation that owns it, to guarantee each person’s safety
and well being while on retreat. Therefore, it is necessary for
each group and its members to release, hold harmless and indemnify
The McNess Foundation, an Illinois not-for-profit corporation, and
its directors, employees, and volunteers from all liability for
any claims or causes of action which might arise and any attorney’s
fees and costs which may be incurred as a result of such claims
or causes of action should any personal injury, death, loss, or
property damage result.
A
non-refundable deposit is due at the time of the reservation. This
will amount to one-third of the anticipated cost of the retreat.
The
balance is due at the time of arrival.
Your
